CFP Playoff Schedule for the 2027-2028 Post-Season
The general College Football Playoff (CFP) schedule for the 2027-28 post-season was originally released ahead of the 2026 season assuming a continuation of the 12-game playoffs into the 2027 season. (Times/TV subject to change)
CFP First Round Games—at campus sites
Dec. 17—8pm EST on ESPN/ABC or TNT
Dec. 18—Noon EST on ESPN/ABC or TNT
Dec. 18—3:30pm EST on ESPN/ABC or TNT
Dec. 18—7:30pm EST on ESPN/ABC or TNT
CFP Quarterfinal Bowl Games—
Dec. 31—Sugar Bowl 7:30pm EST on ESPN/ABC or TNT
Jan. 1—Fiesta Bowl TBA EST on ESPN/ABC or TNT (Noon or Primetime)
Jan. 1—Rose Bowl probable 4pm EST on ESPN/ABC or TNT (Rose Bowl remains on Jan. 1/will not host semifinal per its request)
Jan. 1—Peach Bowl TBA EST on ESPN/ABC or TNT (Noon or Primetime)
2028 CFP Semifinal Bowl Games—
Jan. 13—Orange Bowl 7:30pm EST on ESPN/ABC or TNT
Jan. 14—Cotton Bowl 7:30pm EST on ESPN/ABC or TNT
2028 CFP Championship Game at Caesars Superdome, New Orleans, LA (previously hosted in 2020)—
