Penn State-Iowa Kick Time & TV Announced

Penn State (3-3, 0-3) will kick off against the Iowa Hawkeyes (4-2, 2-1) on Oct. 18th at Kinnick Stadium, Iowa City, at 7pm EDT/6pm CDT on Peacock (Streaming-only). This is the first PSU game to be “streamed-only” for television this season and third all-time. The Iowa game will then lead into Bye Week 2 for the Lions.

This will be Penn State’s first game since the firing of James Franklin and the season-ending injury to starting QB Drew Allar in the 22-21 loss to Northwestern on Oct. 11. Terry Smith, associate head coach & cornerbacks coach, will assume the role of interim head coach for the rest of the 2025 season. Smith has been on Franklin’s staff at PSU since 2014 and played for Penn State 1987-1991 as a Flanker. Redshirt-Freshman Ethan Grunkemeyer is the heir apparent to Allar as starting QB.
