Julian Fleming Charged in May Fatal Accident
PennLive, CBS and other media outlets are reporting that former Ohio State & Penn State wide receiver Julian Fleming has been charged with Homicide by Vehicle while Intoxicated (and other related charges) for his alleged involvement in a May 23 ATV accident that killed his 23-year-old girlfriend. Fleming was reportedly in court Oct. 8 where bond was set at $75,000 and a hearing was set for later this month. In May, Fleming was reportedly operating an ATV that was involved in a collision with a deer in Bradford County, PA. Fleming was injured and required hospitalization while his girlfriend who was riding with him was pronounced dead at the scene. Neither were wearing safety gear.
Fleming was a star at Southern Columbia High School. He played at Ohio State from 2020-2023 and for one season at Penn State in 2024 where he is best remembered for his 2 critical 4th down catches in PSU’s comeback overtime win at USC. Fleming was offered a free agent contract by the Green Bay Packers in spring 2025, but the Packers rescinded the offer after he failed a physical due to back and hip issues.
