CFP Playoff Schedule for the 2026-2027 Post-Season
The general College Football Playoff (CFP) schedule for the 2026-27 post-season was originally released ahead of the 2026 season pending updates for TV assignments, etc.
TV assignments and some kick time options were announced June 1. The new 6-year TV rights deal gives TNT three more games (2 Quarterfinals & 1 Semifinal) and brings ABC into the championship picture for the first time in the CFP-era.
CFP First Round Games—at campus sites
Dec. 18—8pm EST on ESPN/ESPN App
Dec. 19—Noon EST on ESPN/ABC/ESPN App
Dec. 19—3:30pm EST on TNT/Tru/HBO Max
Dec. 19—7:30pm EST on TNT/Tru/HBO Max
(Both TNT games on Dec. 19 will be up against NFL games)
CFP Quarterfinal Bowl Games—
Dec. 30—Fiesta Bowl 7:30pm EST on TNT/Tru/HBO Max (No New Year’s Eve game to avoid NFL conflict)
Jan. 1—Cotton Bowl or Peach Bowl Noon EST on TNT/Tru/HBO Max
Jan. 1—Rose Bowl 4pm EST (or possibly Rose at 8pm with Cotton or Peach at 4pm) on ESPN/ABC/ESPN App (Rose Bowl remains on Jan. 1/will not host semifinal per its request)
Jan. 1—Peach Bowl or Cotton Bowl (or possibly Rose) 8pm EST on ESPN/ESPN App
(Final Rose/Cotton/Peach Bowl kick times will be announced Dec. 6 with CFP reveal—An 8pm EST kick for the Rose Bowl would be the latest since the 2006 Rose Bowl/BCS Championship game kicked at 8pm EST/5pm PST)
2027 CFP Semifinal Bowl Games—
Jan. 14—Orange Bowl 7:30pm EST on TNT/Tru/HBO Max (Orange replaces Rose in semifinal rotation)
Jan. 15—Sugar Bowl 7:30pm EST on ESPN/ABC/ESPN App
2027 CFP Championship Game at Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, NV—
Jan. 25—7:30pm EST on ESPN/ABC/ESPN App (Orange vs. Sugar winners)
