Allen Big Ten Player of the Week Again

For the second straight week, a Penn State player has been honored as a Big Ten Player of the Week. Kaytron Allen RB is the Co-Offensive Player of the Week once again. Kaytron rushed for 160 yards on 25 carries in the 37-10 win over Nebraska at Beaver Stadium. He also scored 2 TDs. It was his fourth game in 2025 with over 100 yards in rushing.

Allen now has over 1-thousand yards rushing this season (2nd time in his career), and he broke the Penn State career rushing yards record reaching 3,954 yards to pass former record holder Evan Royster (3,932 yards). Kaytron also broke the PSU all-time mark for most career rushes passing Curt Warner’s 725 carries and setting the new standard at 747 carries with at least 1 game to play in the season (Saturday at Rutgers/3:30pm on BTN).

Allen was also named the East-West Shrine Bowl Breakout Offensive Player of the Week.
