Kaytron Allen Breaks PSU All-Time Rushing Yards Record

Penn State senior running back Kaytron Allen broke the PSU all-time career rushing yards record in a 37-10 victory over Nebraska Saturday night at Beaver Stadium. Allen rushed 25 times for 160 yards and 2 TDs in the win. Kaytron now has 3,954 yards in his four-year career and that total passed the 3 remaining backs ahead of him on the all-time rushing yards list—former record holder Evan Royster (3,932 yards), Curt Warner (3,872 yards), and Saquon Barkley (3,843 yards). Allen also broke the PSU all-time mark for most career rushes passing Curt Warner’s 725 carries and setting the new standard at 747 carries with at least 1 game to play in the season.

Also in the Nebraska game, Nick Singleton scored two rushing TDs to tie Saquon Barkley for most career rushing TDs (43) and most career all-purpose TDs (53). Singleton can break both ties with a single rushing TD in the final regular season game at Rutgers. Singleton is currently tied for 7th on the all-time PSU rushing list with Curtis Enis at 3,375 yards.

PSU closes out the 2025 regular season at Rutgers on Nov. 29th at 3:30pm on Big Ten Network. Penn State (5-6, 2-6) becomes bowl eligible with a win.
