Penn State Signs 4 Recruits on Feb. National Signing Day

National Signing Day on Feb. 4 saw Penn State and Matt Campbell add four new recruits to the PSU roster bringing the total signed for the 2026 Recruiting Class to 15. All 4 had originally signed with Iowa State and were then released to follow Campbell to the Nittany Lions.

Lucas Tenbrock P (St. Charles North HS, IL)—6 foot 6, 210 lbs.Rated #1 Punter in nation by Chris Sailer Kicking

Keian Kaiser LB (Sidney HS, NE)—6 foot 4, 215 lbs.—#5 prospect in Nebraska per 247Sports

Pete Eglitis OT (Bishop Watterson HS/Columbus, OH)—6 foot 7, 295 lbs.—1st Team All-Ohio

Elijah Reeder DE/OLB (Central Regional HS/Bayville, NJ)—6 foot 6, 210 lbs.—Rivals 300/ESPN/247Sports 4-Star (highest overall rated recruit in this PSU Class)—#7 prospect in NJ per ESPN

Per 247Sports Composite, PSU’s Class of 2026 ranked 62nd nationally (15th in Big Ten ahead of UCLA, Wisconsin, & Nebraska).

NOTE: Samson Gash 4-Star WR from Detroit, Michigan who had shown interest in PSU announced he was signing with Michigan State after having re-opened his recruiting in December due to the coaching change in East Lansing. His father is Sam Gash who played FB at Penn State (1987-91).

Also revealed on Feb. 4, LaVar Arrington II will shift from linebacker to defensive end this spring per Christian Smith, PSU’s new Edge Rushers Coach.
